A Mexican twist on the oldest classic, this tequila old fashioned recipe is a delicious and surprising way to experience agave distillates for all the tequila lovers out there!
Tequila Old Fashioned
Makes one cocktail
• 2 oz Anejo Tequila
• .25 oz Agave Syrup
• 4 dashes El Guapo® Spiced Cocoa Bitters
• Orange twist & blowtorch, for garnish
In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine bitters, syrup and tequila. Stir until well chilled, and strain into a rocks glass over a few rocks. Torch an orange twist until fragrant & lightly charred. Pass the twist over the rim of the glass to release oils before drop over rocks. Serve immediately.
