Spiked Hot Cider

Who doesn’t love a great hot cider? This recipe has notes of chocolate and ginger that add an additional depth of flavor not usually found on a store shelf. Happy Holidays! ✨

Spiked Hot Cider
x The Sauceress
Makes three cocktails 

16 oz Apple Cider
• 4.5 oz Jamaican rum
• 1.5 oz El Guapo® Ginger Syrup
• 2 tbsp El Guapo® Spiced Cocoa Bitters
• Pinch of nutmeg
• Lemon peels, cinnamon sticks & dehydrated apple slices, for garnish

In a heavy bottom saucepan, heat apple cider until hot but not boiling. Add rum, syrup and nutmeg, stirring to combine. Ladle into mugs and garnish with Lemon peels, cinnamon sticks and dehydrated apple slices. Serve immediately.
